Elvis (2022) - When It Was Cool Podcast - Episode 142

Karl and Tonya discuss the epic new Elvis biopic recently in the theaters. Elvis Presley (Austin Butler) and his relationship with Col. Tom Parker (Tom Hanks) is the focus of the film... from the perspective of Col. Parker! This movie was amazing in every way and we discuss the incredibly complex (and utterly carney) Col. Tom Parker and how Elvis biggest fear was the least thing he had to worry about. An amazing movie. Join us as we discuss Elvis (2022). Check out this episode of the When It Was Cool Podcast

The Phantom of the Opera - When It Was Cool - Episode 141

Thankfully, this is the last "flu era" episode we have recorded. With both Karl and Tonya now feeling better we will get the podcasts back to normal again. But as they fight off the last vestiges of sickness, they take a night to turn down the lights, light some oil lamps, and watch one of the most famous early horror movies ever- The Phantom of the Opera starring Lon Chaney (Sr.) and his famous make-up kit. Join us for this legendary 1925 silent movie classic (yet, still with a color scene!)  Check out this episode of the When It Was Cool Podcast
